Agility Robotics has announced the opening of a new 60,000-square-foot facility in Fremont, California, strategically located near Tesla's operations. This move is aimed at enhancing the training and development of its humanoid robot, Digit, as the company faces increasing competition from Tesla's own humanoid robot project, Optimus. The facility will serve as a hub for advancing their technology and operational capabilities, supported by $300 million in secured contracts. Additionally, Agility Robotics is preparing for a public market entry through a reverse merger, indicating a significant step in its growth and expansion strategy.
